Acute Injuries
So you’re playing basketball on the weekend, land on your ankle the wrong way, and ouch! We will evaluate the injury, location, and level of severity and create a customized treatment plan that’s just right for you.
Strains/Sprains
Some strains and sprains can be managed conservatively with ice, rest and anti-inflammatories. Others are more chronic, and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy can be successful treatment options.
Achilles Injuries
From more chronic conditions like Achilles tendonitis, or an acute injury, like an Achilles tendon rupture, we use regenerative medicine and minimally invasive surgery to repair and restore the injured area.
Tendon Tears
Tendon tears can also present as a chronic condition or an acute injury. Regenerative medicine can reduce inflammation and pain, and accelerate healing.
Acute Fractures
Depending on the severity of the fracture, surgery may be needed. Or, a cast or brace may be used to allow the bone to heal. Regenerative medicine can also be appropriate in some cases.
Stress Fractures
Stress fractures, or small breaks in the bone, are a common overuse injury in athletes. Orthotics, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) are all effective treatment options.
Heel Pain
Heel pain is often caused by plantar fasciitis, or sometimes can be a result of Achilles tendonitis. Regenerative medicine can both reduce inflammation and relieve pain.
